I'm irritated with QuickBooks. Somehow, they decided to start charging me a monthly fee for "online banking" which I don't use. I don't recall signing up for it, nor do I remember ever giving them permission to deduct money from my account. I certainly don't recall any information about monthly fees or anything else like that, because I remember those kinds of things. Once these fees start, there's next to no way to get them to start. The people I just wasted the better part of an hour with couldn't figure it out and were hard to understand. I'm not even sure they understood what I was talking about. Intuit says they can't find the charge in their system. Wells Fargo tells me Intuit is making the deduction. As far as I'm concerned, this is fraud, pure and simple. If Intuit doesn't figure it out, I'll be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau, the police, and just about anybody else I can think of. The actual dollar amount is not very big, but the fact that I didn't agree to it and now can't seem to find anybody with brains enough to deal with it means it's a bigger deal than the money. I'll also be sending a bill to Intuit for wasting my time.
There. I feel better. Jerome, as my lawyer (someday), would you care to draft a strongly worded letter?

Before I charge you, I'd like to see the T&C's you agreed to before you started using the software.

They probably say I can do no right and they can do no wrong. It took a long time to get sorted out, but I got most of the money back. Wells Fargo actually had a person I can understand and who could understand my questions to figure it out. So, problem solved. What a PITA. Corporations are people, corporations are people, corporations are people, corporations are...

All T&Cs say that. They even say that the software is warranted for no purpose whatsoever and limits their damages no matter what happens.
