As seen on Facebook!
Anyone familiar with my FreeGIXXER project should be advised that I have decided that after 10 years, I'm not going to find the time to rebuild this thing. I'd like to find it a better home to make room for my annual Conk Resurrection. So, if you're reading this, it's a 1st gen '86 GSX-R750 frame and motor with a '92 front end. No carbs, but you would want to replace those anyway. It also has a full set of race fairings, and is fully safety wired. Mike Devine, everyone's favorite pirate, can clue you in on the bike's history if you're interested. I salvaged it out of his yard.
So if you have the time or inclination for a project bike, this is the one you want. If you're reading this, it's free for the pickup. If I can't farm it off to you, Craigslist it is.

Dayum! It was going to be the ultimate Hooptie Corsa secret weapon. And besides, a bike that spent so much time in the Love Bunker's garage has to have some special karma. Oh, well. All good things must pass, even if they never run.

Don't you have, like, a four car garage now?

Three car garage, but I'll be damned if I don't have two cars in there taking up space. That has never happened before.
The Conk has the other bay along with all my shi^H^H^H stuff. Given the wife, the band, the job, the new business (Oligarchy has to start somewhere), school and the fact that I've barely time to keep the running bike running, I figure it best to clear some time and space to work on the things I can work on.
She's on Craigslist now.

Looking for a new place with a garage. If it's still available, once I have the new garage, I'll take it! ;D Love those first gen gixxers.
Edit to add: What level of deconstruction is it actually in?

I still got it. I'll hold it for you, unless someone comes by with a fist full of cash, in which case you can still have right of first refusal.
The deconstruction isn't too bad. The motor is complete (carbs excepted) and sitting on my bench on a small pallet. The frame still has the rear wheel on but you're going to want to replace that, probably. A good sandblast and new bearings might make it good as new. The front end is on the frame but not bolted tightly. The miscellaneous parts (master cylinder, lights, pegs, etc..) are all boxed on the shelf, too, as is the original body work. The new race fairings are also boxed on the shelf.
It's basically rebuild ready. You could have the whole thing bolted back together in a day.

Works for me. I'm hard into the house hunt, so, hopefully, it won't take too long to have a place to do the build.
Woot!
