Let 'em starve. These are exactly the same people that need to get weened off the credit tit. How the hell do you get "laid off" if you're the CEO?

Board decides you're making too much? CEO's "resign" or "look for new opportunities." They don't get laid off.

I'm all for feeling sympathetic for those out of work; but none in this story get my sympathy. Especially, Mr. turn down jobs and now is crying about only have 6 more months of savings. Or, the person that buys coffee every morning instead of brewing it at home.

Amazing. I'd be curious to know what company it is. It looks like everyone who can do that sort of thing is doing exactly that. I wonder what companies there are left for Warren Buffet to invest in. Not too many, I would think. I'm not one to be paranoid, but doesn't it seem like the money is being sucked up and pulled out of circulation as quick as can be? As if something were coming? Oh it's not so bad--i get accused of paranoia on a regular basis--ya gets used to it... ;D Seriously though...checked the price of gold lately? (And waterfront property in China?)

Gold has gone through the roof - India just bought a pile, 200 tons from the IMF: www.economist.com/businessfinance/displaystory.cfm?story_id=14816649There's been a rumor that gold bars are turning up plugged with tungsten, but so far, its just rumors.

When all the oil and precious metals run out, what's going to be the most precious commodity? Water? Women?

Jesus, the Jesuits are training oligarchs now? Dude, they were the original oligarchs. Have you seen the Pope's hat? Hmmm. I must have missed it. Stetson?
