A Romney campaign operative is now on record stating that their campaign would not be "dictated to by fact checkers." Bwahahahahaha! In other words, we are lying sacks of shit and don't give a flying fuck at the moon if you and everyone else knows it - we think the American people are dumber than a box of rocks, so we will get away with it and get what we want, based on falsehoods.
What a virtuous basis for a campaign platform. I wonder if any of them have ever read the parts of the Bible that talk about bearing false witness.

Well...if you watched or heard any of Paul Ryan's speech last night you would know this is true. It was one lie after another. You could probably direct any of your GOPer friends to this site but they'd say it's just a bunch of liberal hooey-fooey. factcheck.org/2012/08/ryans-vp-spin/

Facts and reality have a well known liberal bias. So, of course factcheck.org will have a liberal bias, since it deals with facts and reality. Sheesh. Don't you know anything?

What's going to be very interesting is to see whether the press picks up on any of the outright, knowing untruths or whether they will just continue to blandly say he "gave an effective speech" or some other pap about not much. If the press picks up on the fact that Romney and Ryan are spectacularly and provably dishonest, it will be a miracle, but we can always hope.

The press is interested in ratings not facts.
