And I'm planning a few changes to the bird. Got a set of risers on order from jaws in merry old England. And going with a set of continental road attacks for new shoes. How about you? Doing anything to your ride?

Just ordered a new Road Sofa seat for my Goldwing, along with a tinted Memphis Shades screen, and new front pads for the Nomad. Still waiting for the return of my engine parts for the Dnepr, and the KZ needs a new clutch and an oil change. Going to start shopping for a KLR 650.

Triumph - fresh oil and some exercise. SV - fairing stay, final assembly, and some trips to the track, money permitting. Norton - disassmbly and more rest. Mad Max - who the hell knows.

Updated master cylinder for the front brakes in the near future. Probably some head guards too. It needs NOS. The bottle would fit in your seat bag. Brakes? Brakes are for pussies!

Might get 100hp with NOS. ;D And because it has the redline of a Buick Electra, you would get about 400 ft/lbs of tire shredding big block torque. Those goofy Chevy powered bikes wouldn't be able to hold a candle to it. Five miles or five seconds, whichever comes first.

So, despite all the warnings, you are going to squeeze the Charmin? By applying a lot of torque.

Main thing for the T3 is a spring shake-down run into Oregon over a long weekend to make sure it's happy with the saddle/tail bag set up I have now and to see how it handles a multiple-day ride in preparation for the big trip in August.

Main thing for the T3 is a spring shake-down run into Oregon over a long weekend to make sure it's happy with the saddle/tail bag set up I have now and to see how it handles a multiple-day ride in preparation for the big trip in August. Here is a tip, but you may know this. I pack my "T" shirts, socks and fruit of the looms in individual zip lock bags. Press them down real good before sealing them to get all the air out. Makes it much easier to pack, then you have a nice seal-able bag to but your dirty stuff back in.
