Why? I'm not a fan Harley-sheeple any more than any other non-Harley rider, but I don't wish any ill towards the company itself or its employees.

I don't want them to go bankrupt. The only problems I have with Harley are some of the idiots who ride them and the fact that they leverage xenophobia as a marketing tool.

Its not Harley's fault (well, not entirely) that certain people (that you don't care for) ride them. Harley does control their own marketing, of course, and I guess some people are attracted to Harley due to a perceived 'image'.
Harley is a company making motorcycles and accessories that people still buy. That's all. If you don't like the 'lifestyle', blame the people spending their money and time living that lifestyle, not a company.

It takes new and repeat customers to maintain that image, otherwise the company need s anew image. Meh, just get sick of the Harley bashing (not you, John).

Again, riders, not equipment. Ski, my first street bike was a 75 sporty, followed be a 85 FXRS, followed by a 96 Road King. I'm still tossing the idea around about getting rid of my XX, and replacing it with a 2010 883!!!

I will admit to enjoying riding the occasional Harley. A Moto Guzzi is similar, although better and without the pirate baggage.

I can do without the rest, although I bear them no ill will. How did you like that Road King?
