Is anyone surprised that they tried that shit? Only surprise I see is that Stwart broke the story John Stewart has been a better news reporter these past months than most actual news reporters. I've BEEN saying that. It's actually been the past 2 years. For years the Daily Show was some news content with a humorous take. Now, the humor is still there but they're calling BS and showing the "real" story more than the organizations with "news" in their title. My favorite segment they had during the election was "Who the F#*@ is This Guy?"

Here's something more to chew on. Bachman called the gathering a "press conference." Why? Because she used her govt website and govt email for shilling a political rally, which is specifically forbidden by federal rules. From the Regulations on the Use of the Congressional Frank by Members of the House of Representatives, Rule XLVI, 4: " A Member may not send any mass mailing outside the congressional district from which the Member was elected." It has to do with the franking privilege MOCs get was a perk to communicate with their constuents. (If you remember, Dan Rostankowski did some jail time for abusing his mail privileges some years ago.) mnpublius.com/2009/09/bachmann-violates-regulations-on-congressional-frank-again/So, she thinks the workaround was to call it a "press conference." BULLSHIT!

Is she giving BJs to anybody that votes for her? Honestly, this woman is a class A nutjob. How did she ever get elected (unless sentence one is true).

Well, rules only apply when convenient with right wingers, and the nuttier you are the more successful you will be, at least up to a certain point, in deep right districts and states.
