The networks all primetimed the R convention..featuring that stepford wife Ann Romney and the fat guy.
I alternate between disgust, horror & pity for that wife-bot of Romney's. Disdgust because of her willing lifesytyle as a living *acccessory* to a man; horror because of the sheer level of delusion required to enable such a life; and pity in having to witness such a wasted life in such a public display.
The fat guy was just funny. "What will our children and grandchildren say of us? Will they say we buried our heads in the sand, we assuaged ourselves with the creature comforts we've acquired.."
Yaaaaaa! A lambast of "creature comforts" from the limp, adipose mouth of a morbidly obese politician! Really-- irony doesn't come better packaged than this! LMAO! (I also noticed that FOXnews cut this part of his speech out of their "transcript"--i had to get it from the AP, but the Fox version came in on top in google search--which is informative in and of itself...).
I wonder what the speechwriting team is composed of for this class of speech? I know one thing..there is a PhD in psychology in there somewhere... heheh. Wonderous!

I remember clearly the meltdown the right wing had waaaay back when candidate Bill Clinton's uppity wife remarked that she wasn't the type to stay at home and bake cookies all day.
I wonder what the Secretary of State thinks of this particular kitchen dweller?

She doesn't dwell in the kitchen. She has "people" for that. And for the laundry, the kids, the yard, the cleaning, the... Her time is spent practising dressage with the "theraputic" horse. But, by god, she WORKS!

I'm just very amused that the ghost of dumb'ya is pounding New Orleans in the form of hurricane Issac during the RNC. It is fitting, since they are adamantly distancing themselves from dumb'ya while rehashing the same old crap he did. So, there's some poetic justice for you.

I heard a piece of the NJ nutbag's speech this morning. He was railing about ACA putting bureaucrats between "a woman and her doctor." Just wtf does he think the insurance co's do now, and at what cost? The logical disconnect between what they say and what the mean/do is astounding...

.....and what was this bullshit about the tough times when they lived in a basement while he was in college? I would be interested to find out if that was at all true. There is no way he had to live in a basement considering his dad was a millionaire.
That was probably one of the two messages they needed to get out to their stooges. We are just like you and Mitty likes the ladies.

Who gives a shit if they did. Every college kid lives in a basement. What they don't do is have $200,000 (today's equivlant dollars) worth of stock to sell off so they can eat.

I skipped all of it, though I may have to watch Clint the Squint's chair presentation.

I find it quite telling that the most interesting thing the GOP can come up with these days is an empty char.
