And trust me, there is a lot behind him - thank you I'll be here all night. Watching how this has unfolded that last few weeks (yes, I said weeks); I'm going to go out on a limb here. And here is why I'm coming to this conclusion.
1. Ignore the fact that just weeks ago Christie was very critical of President Obama. I'll chalk that up to Christie being a good soldier. However, soon after that (and during his re-election campaign) the GOP has pretty much abandoned him. Christie has discovered he is too moderate for this version of the GOP. Thus, he knows he could and never will be the chosen presidential candidate.
2. This is a tie into the above. Christie has heard the rumbles; he's too moderate. He is outspoken and brash but he has been willing to reach out at times. This is now a no-no. This disaster has made him rethink EVERYTHING. He has realized he can no longer be politically dishonest.
Watch. Christie is setting up for a HUGE switch, he's going to leave the Republican party and make a move to the Democratic party. There is your November surprise!

Christie is trying to get Honney Boo Boo back on the stupid box so the serfs can get their Soma and forget about just how screwed they really are. Obama is working for the same goal.
The bread and circuses have been washed out to sea, and the feudal lords are all in a panic over it. It's one thing to abandon a bunch of poor black folks down on the Byuooo, but these are Manhattan bankers, fergawds sake!
Of course it's important to save them!
