We have already determined the correct number of motorcycles necessary for a complete person is five. Now, I have discovered the correct number for another staple of spiritual life is also five. Guitars.
1. Semi-hollow (ES335 or a clone) 2. Full hollow (Gibson L-5 or another clone) 3. Les Paul 4. Archtop accoustic 5. Dobro
Friends don't let friends play pointy guitars, and round holes are for light weight when you are drilling brake levers. Round holes don't belong on guitars. F holes do. Flat is bad. Flat top haircuts, flat top guitars. See the connection? I'm enlightened, trust me.

Indeed. 1. Breedlove Atlas 2. Epiphone Dot (ES335 clone, now with .12 gauge strings. Ouch.) 3. THUNDERSTICK!!! (In other news, the new Stingrays have a narrower neck) 4. Takamine G series (with busted bridge saddle, and a lose nut) 5. Hoffner-Anno Nylon String Classical. On loan. February is coming up, wherin I sit in a room taking care of 4,000 bluegrass fanatic's instruments for them. Also in said room, the vendor displays for Santa Cruz, Taylor, Martin, and Goldtone. So that's what I do at night.

Apparently, six is the magic number. You left out a vintage Melobar.

I'm not a complete person, since I only have one guitar, not including the bass. It is shaped like a guitar, has f-holes and a 335 shaped body, but its a bass, so it doesn't count.
Here's more proof of fives. We really have five branches of government - legislative, executive, judicial, press, and electorate. The last two are unofficial, but essential.

I'm woefully incomplete. One bike, one bass, no guitar at all. But I do have a piano and a Wurlitzer....

Nope, that's a Leslie speaker, which were installed in Hammond organs like the B2 and B3. They also made stand alone cabinets. Our keyboard player has one and it always gets a lot of attention after our gigs. It's a very cool piece of equipment.
