I ken c rusha frum mah howse! Your imitation sounds a bit too bright. Work on it, please. I was thinking about her extremism, overtly divisive populism, and her success with a certain non-thinking portion of the population. Le Pen did well in French elections for a while as an extremist xenophobe right winger. He was probably smarter than she is. After all, he could speak French, a foreign language.

I have encountered quite a few people that when asked what to do regarding the situation in the middle east their response is to "turn it all to glass, nuke, carpet bomb, ect. This complete lack of insight and to some degree ignorance has much attraction to a balls out, extreme approach. The simple, aggressive ideologies resonate with them.

It sure is simpler if you have a low IQ and short attention span.

I am always perplexed by the "common man" theory. I have heard people say "it's about time we elect a "normal guy" into office.".
I don't know about you, but I don't want the average idiot even touching the remote to my television, let alone running my government. I want a very smart person running it, who has a sense of duty to the country.
I can get the smart person, it's the sense of duty part that's the bitch.
