I read recently that the most common surname in China is "Wang."
Surprisingly, they're not all red headed.

I just read on CNN about a 92 year old woman who got caught smuggling cocaine.
I heard she had to turn to peddling the white stuff because no one was interested in her crack anymore.

I see in the news that the Egyptians are asking France to return the Rosetta Stone.
I think they should go ahead and return it, I mean they've already read it, right?

My wife and I were at the airport the other day waiting to pick up her friend when I noticed several people with dogs coming out of the arrival area. There were several of them and it seemed odd, but then I saw that a lot of the people had white canes so. It took a minute or two to figure out but eventually I realized that it was some kind of tour or other event for the blind.
Of course, in the time that it took to figure everything out, I realized I had been staring at them for about a minute. Of course I looked away quickly, but I felt a little embarrassed, because its not polite to stare at handicapped people.
Do you think they noticed?

A Hassidic Jewish guy walks into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder.
The bartender asks "Hey, where did you get that thing?"
The parrot says "New York"

A Hasidic trader travels to South Carolina on business and has to spend a day or so in a small town. So, he decides to take a walk. Everywhere he goes, people stare at him. It starts making him uncomfortable, but he keeps walking along. Eventually, he walks past a school, and the kids start pointing and laughing. He draws a crowd of staring, pointing children as he walks past the playground, and, finally, he's had enough of it.
He stops, looks at them and says, "Vats the mattah. Haf you nevah seen a Yankee befoah?"

I was in Taiwan a month or so ago and saw a lot of signs about the upcoming "Deaf Olympics."
It was the first time I realized there was such a thing - I'm guessing they're relying on word of mouth to spread the news...
