Now that I have benefits again (well, not technically, because I haven't selected a plan yet, but they'll be effective 12/14/09), I rode to work. Holy hell did that feel good. It's been a couple of weeks since I rode the Goose since it was freezing here, but this morning it was dry and in the mid-forties. The new motor is fantastic, definitely more oomph.
So, anyone else have cooperative weather? (you don't count Tammy, except for hurricanes, you always have cooperative weather)

I walked to work this morning.
Got out of bed, walked across the room to the computer.

Thank goodness they have lane splitting down there. Which still freaks me out, BTW.

Who needs a motor? I rode my bicycle to work twice this week. ;D However, I'll be dropping off the stock fairing stuff for the Le Mans III to Moto-I tomorrow, so I should be able to get out on the not-quite-so-old old Goose very soon!

Ya'll getting hammered over there or what? My folks are flying back to Ohio on Thursday. I hope their pipes haven't frozen.

I worry mainly about black ice, but I have my Gold Wing on the Tender, so hopefully will be in the saddle soon.
As I get older, I find my cold tolerance is rapidly dropping for some reason.

Freezing rain on top of a foot or so of snow, no my ridding days have been put on hold.

I got a free bus pass from work, it's only a 10 minute trip and there's no free parking around so the bus has been pretty sweet. This has been the longest I've pretty much ever gone without riding my bike, since the beginning of the December coldness I've just totally pussed out.
Gonna get a bicycle and hopefully start riding that down to belltown when the weather is more cooperative.

Indeed. I rode the ZRX to work today (got an appointment after work), but trying to commute on the push bike at least three times a week. ;D

Rode this morning, on the Gold Wing. Most refreshing. Had to watch for gravel at the intersections, and a couple of spots where water runs into the roadways, but that was it.

Ohh, still have a foot of snow on the ground. But temps are supposed to be in the mid 40's, woo hoo. Started both bikes up just to hear the sound once again. Getting closer every day.
